INDIENOV Airbag Belt

Through INDIENOV brand, HIPPY develops and commercializes a CE-marked, category 1 medical device: The connected airbag belt.

The INDIENOV belt helps protecting elderlies from femoral neck fractures.  In France, there are 90,000 fractures every year,  50% of patients subsequently lose their autonomy, and 30% die. The connected airbag belt is therefore a medical device that can help preventing these issues.

The INDIENOV belt :

-Pre-detects falls thanks to an artificial intelligence algorithm embedded in the belt buckle

-Protects against femoral neck fractures by deploying an airbag on the side of the fall to cushion the impact on the ground 

-Instantly alerts caregivers by sending a text message

The connected airbag belt will be available in November with a remote assistance service. We will be presenting this new product at the Silver Economy Expo.
