APALECO, in partnership with the AP-HP (Official State Health Organization), designs, manufactures and distributes interactive activity boards to soothe people suffering from neurodegenerative diseases (Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s ...) or other cognitive disorders (autism, psychiatry, maladjusted childhood ...), improving their quality of life while supporting the well-being of caregivers.

These boards, certified Medical Device DM 1.13, are installed in residences (hospitals, EHPAD ...) or at home.

They are the result of research initiated by the AP-HP as part of the TIPATSMA project.

They can be used by people in complete autonomy 24/24, notably during their wandering, in a playful, non-medicated therapeutic approach.

APALECO restores meaning to people’s lives, while respecting ethics. 

By providing them with an authorized activity, APALECO reduces the need for emergency interventions by caregivers to counter harmful activities that generate stress, impulsive reactions and sometimes violence.

APALECO is and will remain a family business. APALECO has published a raison d’être and plans to become a company with a mission.

APALECO works in cooperation with public and private institutions, as well as non-profit associations, with one objective in mind: to effectively improve the quality of life of the elderly, while supporting the well-being of caregivers.
