The Burgundy-Franche-Comté Gerontology and Innovation Center (PGI), regional Gérontopôle, drives innovation in gerontology: a diverse and multidisciplinary network of actors (more than 60 member legal entities) supported by an expert technical team, it acts in favor of improving the quality of life in the stages of advancing age and to support society in aging. It integrates the best state of knowledge in the production of services and products which are more far in the satisfaction of elderly people, their families and their caregivers, and who contribute to changing the policies that concern them. The purpose of our center: to improve the quality of life of elderly people at home, in institutions or in hospitals, through the development of research and innovation thanks to a transversal approach to aging, the creation of synergies and coordination of gerontology stakeholders.

The PGI will be present in the Gérontopôles village, accompanied by three companies from the Burgundy-Franche-Comté region, in order to present the possibilities of supporting economic players in the development of products and services for seniors.
